*Organic Cafes*

Last week, we went to have an organic lunch which is closed to "Urasandou" in Maruyama area.
The cafe's name is "Chikappo" which I don't know the meaning.
Maybe, it is came from owner's name or something.
Anyway, we ordered 2 "Chikappo Gozen(meal) "
They served about 9 kinds of food on separated bowls each.
The Gozen was served with organic brown rice with organic black beans
and black sesame, organic miso soup or light soy soup,
fried organic tofu with small dried shrimps,
organic sesame tofu, some Japanese pickles, and organic coffee or tea.
They have "Genmai Gozen" and one coin Gozen too.
They also have cake and organic fresh juices.
The cafe has 2nd floor.

We had really nice lunch at therere.
I would like to go again with my friends!!

I had already had an organic lunch at another place called "Aoi sora Nagareru kumo".
They served a smaller potion lunch but it was good too!
They have some organic coffee, herb teas, and soy icecream!!
My daughter liked the icecream!

There are a lot of neat cafes and restaurants around here!!
I would like to explore to find new neat places more!!

Thank you for visiting!

*Hot hot!!*

It's been very hot in Sapporo!! But it turns to rain yesterday...
It must be effected by Global warming!!

Last weekend, it was held the Yosakoi Soran Festival in Sapporo.
The original "
Yosakoi" was started in the city of Kochi prefecture.
One guy who was a student of Hokkaido Univ.
started Yosakoi Soran Festival in Sapporo by inspiring with the Yosakoi.
It's been growing huge in Sapporo.

And this week, "The Annual Hokkaido Shrine Festival"
is held in the Hokkaido Shrine and Nakajima Park.
It is also called "Sapporo Festival".
We went to Nakajima park.
It was too many people there.
We took so long to get out the exit...
We all were tired but we had fun too!!
There were a hundreds of market stalls
which was selling some foods inside the park.
We had a Okonomi yaki such as a pancake with some vegetables,
sauce, mayo, and dried bonito(Katsuo in Japanese) fish.
We had some finger snacks which was very good!!
It was made by dried bread-like pieces of wheat gluten that looked like sticks.
My Husband and daughter liked it.
We spend about 2hours there, and we came home.
It was a nice evening!
The southern of Japan began of rainy season.
In Hokkaido, there is no rainy season.
But it will be continued warm and hot weather in Japan.
I hope it is not so hot in this summer...
because I am pregnant!!
It is very hard for pregnant women!!
Thank for visiting!

*Starting my english blog!!*

I decided to start this blog in English
because I would like to keep up my English for myself,
my WAnian husband and daughter.
So, please forgive me if there are any miswritten!!
Also, I am thinking of writing about Sapporo for letting people know.
I would like to write about my favorite places by my broken English.
Sapporo is one of the beautiful cities in Japan.
You can feel wonderful four seasons!!
Air is cleaner than any places in Japan!!(I think :))
We started to live here last November.
I found a nice and convenient place, thank God!
We live in an apartment which is called condo in US near Maruyama Park.
Maruyama park is one of the biggest parks in Sapporo
There is a small pond , kids area, and garden.
There are Hokkaido Shrine, Maruyama Zoo, Kids Land, and is close to US consulate!
I take for a walk with my 2yrs daughter to the park .
It will take about 15-20min from our home with my daughter.
When we go to the park, sometimes we visit the shrine.
Wash hands and mouth.
Then, we take a rest at the rest place where offering by Rokkatei
which is one of the famous Japanese sweets shops in Hokkaido.
You can have a Japanese sweet and a cup of tea by free!!
There is a shop of Rokkatei just accross the park.
They have a lot of wonderful Japanese sweets
and also there is a cafe upstairs.
You can have pizzas, cakes, and icecream!!
I sometimes buy some sweets at the shop.
They are so yummy!!
OK! I will try to write more next time!
Thank you for visiting!
